🎈 Canon 1Dx Mark Ii Vs 5D Mark Iv
Have a look in our Nikon D800 vs Canon EOS 5D Mark II/III head to head. Canon did usher in a new 100,000k-pixel sensor with the Canon EOS 1DX, though. Memory card slots.
Hi, I'm looking for a multi-purpose tripod that I can use for night (Milky Way) Photog as well as landscapes/animals shots using my Canon 1DX MARK II with either a 100-400mm lense or my 14mm lense. It should be lighweight and quick to set up but capable of holding the weight of camera and large lense with stability.
I made an account just to help out xeveserpere as a fellow human being using these forums for the right reasons (asking for opinions based on experience or technical knowledge in order to weigh purchase options). Waddizzle if you haven't used either camera for video and can't speak to the question
While it will be slightly more difficult for folks going from a 16-22mp camera body to a 30mp body–the 5D Mark IV–to make sharp images, it will surely be a lot easier for many folks to make sharp images with a 30mp body than with a 50mp body–the 5DS R. From what I've been able to gather the 1dx Mark II has a much faster burst rate for photography, a dual processor, a better build quality, higher ISO capabilities and as menti
The 5D IV ultimately won out due to in part these four features: dual card slots, 100% viewfinder coverage, 1/8000 shutter option, and sync speed of 1/200 (vs. the 6D's 1/180). As I do lots of off-camera flash work, I really wanted the higher sync speed.

Even if you’re a Canon 7D shooter, the explanations are useful, excepting that the 1DX and 5D III have more control options. First, some set-up options you should use for bird-in-flight (BIF) photography, regardless of camera: Set the drive mode to Continuous (H), shoot in AI Servo (moving subjects) and pick an ISO of 320 for the 7D and 800
I find that all my telephoto lenses with a specific camera benefit to some degree from microadjusting the autofocus. Currently, I am using two cameras - the Canon 5D Mark IV and the 1DX Mark II. I must individually microadjust focus for each lens and camera combination I use with autofocus to achieve sharply focused images consistently.
The Angle Finder C lets you adjust the viewing angle while also providing a 1.25x to 2.5x switchable magnification. Provided with built-in variable diopter correction, supplied with Finder Adapters Ec-C, Ed-C to fit any EOS camera.
Expanded compatibility with extenders. The AF sensor of the EOS 5D Mark IV supported focusing up to maximum aperture f/8, which was just right for using Canon’s fast super telephoto prime lenses with an extender. On the EOS R5, AF is supported on lenses up to maximum aperture f/22. This means compatibility with a greater range of lens
Thank you for your response cale_kat, the 5d iii is not as robust as you are making it out to be. Its a great camera but the features are not mind blowing the 7d mark ii has superior FPS and focusing comperable to that of the 1dx the 5d iii is 3-6 FPS and the focusing is only slightly worse. The 7d mark ii also has a much more extensive lense
31.4 oz (890g) 32.8 oz (930g) Here is the full EOS 5D Mark IV vs. 5Ds specifications comparison. Obvious from the table above is that the EOS 5Ds/5Ds R has one notable advantage over the EOS 5D Mark IV – resolution. The 5Ds R model, specifically, also has a slight sharpness advantage on the 5D IV as the latter features a traditional low-pass
